ABOUT DOVES WITH LOVE

Doves with Love is a small family owned business located in Lilydale, the gateway to the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.
Darren and his family have 40 years experience in raising, showing and training their white rock doves.
Darren’s love of his birds is reflected in their care, appearance and training.
The white rock doves are groomed, exercised and handled daily and when not at an event are given free flight and are trained to fly home to their loft.
Doves with Love is not just a business to Darren and his family, but a passion and a labour of love.
Doves with Love follow a strict set of policies to ensure the safety of their white doves. The doves will not be released in stormy or extremely windy conditions, heavy rainfall, extreme heat, indoors or too close to sunset. The safety of the doves comes first, no exceptions.
Our doves are a variety derived from the rock pigeon that are recognised for their homing ability. They are housed in a specially designed loft, where they receive quality nutrition, a safe environment, their mate, and their nest.
Doves with Love is a professional provider of white dove releases in Melbourne and outer suburbs. Our beautiful white birds are currently available for release at outdoor events and ceremonies.

A dove release is a great alternative to releasing balloons. Queeensland have banned the public release of balloons

and Zoos Victoria are calling for a nation-wide ban on balloon releases.
